Fall is a great time in Atlanta. Here are a few local events coming up that you and your family should check out.

Today we aren’t going to talk about real estate. Instead, I want to talk to you about some of the fun family activities that are going on around the city of Atlanta this fall. I’ve been to most of these events and wanted to let you and your family know about them as well so you can join in, too:
1. Southern Belle Farm. My family and I went here just last week and had a great time. There's a huge pumpkin patch, a four-acre corn maze, hayrides, and more for the kids to enjoy here. Their customer service is amazing and everyone we interacted with there was really nice and friendly. I can’t recommend it enough.
2. Stone Mountain Pumpkin Fest. In the video above, you can see some pictures of the nightly Jack-o’-lantern lightings, pumpkin carving, a pie eating contest, and more. Get there by 9:00 p.m. to take in the glow-by-night experience.
3. Boo at the Zoo. If you like animals, you’ll want to check out this event at the Atlanta Zoo on October 27 and 28. There will be tons of fall-themed activities and some of your favorite storybook characters will be in attendance as well.

4. Smyrna Fall Jonquil Festival. Every year, they bring out tons of different food vendors, tons of bounce houses, rock climbing, and a Halloween costume parade where they will give away a prize for best costume. This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28.
5. Grant Park Lantern Parade. This fun event, hosted by the Grant Park Conservancy, will be happening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, October 28. I haven’t been there before but I’m really excited to check it out this year.
